On Wednesday 21st March my partner and I headed into Melbourne to attend the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N exhibition at Federation Square. This exhibition showcased costumes, replicas and interactive exhibits of all things “Avengers”. The “S.T.A.T.I.O.N” stands for “Science Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network”.
We are already half way through March 2018 and before we know it, E3 will be around the corner.
There has also already been some amazing announcements across all platforms for games releasing this year – the original Luigi’s Mansion on 3DS for example (I CAN’T WAIT). So why not write a little post about the games and announcements I am personally hoping for.
The Sims 3: World Adventures was my favourite expansion pack that was ever made for The Sims.
I loved the adventuring, the mystery, the hunting and the tomb raiding. So when I heard that The Sims developers were making a game pack for TS4 that incorporated these similarities with TS3 World Adventures, I was over the moon.
The first consoles I remember having was the Super Nintendo and a Gameboy which belonged to my parents. And the first few games I recall having and playing were Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins on the Gameboy and Super Mario All Stars on Super Nintendo. I used to watch my mum play through these games (especially Super Mario Bros 3 – my favourite) and see how good she was at them. I always wanted a turn but she would tell me “No, I am playing. Just watch me” and I’d sit there in awe. I wanted to be just as good as mum was. In fact, I wanted to be better. And coincidentally, as the years went on, platform games became my specialty.
